Nanotronics is now CubeFabs

A Vision Built on Seeing the Future

In 2010, my father and I set out to build the next generation of industrial equipment, powered by breakthroughs in computation and guided by a simple belief: to build the future, you need to see it. Our first product, nSpec, became the most versatile and advanced Automated Optical Inspection system on the market. It has helped leading companies innovate faster, build more efficiently, and ultimately achieve higher yields.

Innovation Began with Inspection

nSpec was the first optical inspection platform to unite robotics, advanced microscopy, and AI for anomaly detection and defect classification. Commercializing AI inside industrial tools early on led naturally to our next leap, nControl, the immune system for modern factories.

nControl brings real-time insights to process engineers and factory managers by ingesting MES data, inspection data, and sensor readings. With our AI model architectures, a new level of process control finally becomes possible.

Letting AI Lead the Way

After creating more than 150 patents and building deep tech solutions for some of the world’s most advanced factories, one insight became clear: the biggest opportunity wasn’t just designing the tools used inside factories, it was designing the factories themselves.

Introducing CubeFabs: Manufacturing Reimagined

CubeFabs is the AI factory of the future. These modular, rapidly deployable facilities are built to scale next-generation materials from lab to production.

Semiconductor manufacturing at scale is notoriously difficult, especially when new materials are involved. By pairing AI-assisted inspection with real-time process control, CubeFabs makes reliable production of these materials possible. Our first focus is Gallium Oxide, a wide band-gap semiconductor that will power the next generation of energy-efficient, high-performance technology.

From Nanotronics to CubeFabs

After 15 years as Nanotronics, we’ve built lasting partnerships, served customers around the world, and charted a path to our next chapter. We’re moving forward under the name CubeFabs, with a laser focus and leadership team that has been building in this space for more than a century collectively.

To our customers and partners curious about what’s ahead, we’d love to explore how CubeFabs can support your roadmap.

A Strong Transition for nSpec

In this next chapter, the nSpec product line is being transitioned to Nanotronics Inspection Systems, Inc., who will oversee all sales, service, and customer support. CubeFabs will continue to benefit from nSpec’s unique capabilities, and we’re grateful the relationship will remain close.
